Golf Courses for the Business Woman

Did you know?

"When compared to other activities or methods of building a business relationship that leads to a sale, playing a round of Business Golf was 85% more successful. Why? In this study the decision the customer made in who to buy something from came down to the sales person’s character demonstrated during a round of golf."

Scot Duke, "Mr. Business Golf"

Business GolfFrom New York City, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, women golfers are making business meetings happen on the golf course.

According to the women we interviewed there are some rules for the business meeting game. The number one rule they offered is, “play the round of golf free of any business discussion.” Sharing your method and frustration of getting the ball down the fairway, they added, is an ice breaker for discussing business later.

Another tip the women golfers said not to do; is to play your game down so the client wins. Some balls in the rough may not be too blatant, but keep it to a minimum as it can be insulting to the client or your boss. If you're a great player than play well. You should always do your best and more often than not, you will be respected for it. If you're playing with men and you're afraid you'll hurt their pride if you beat them, it's up to you to decide if you want to play down. Just remember you're here to do business, earn respect and to honor the sport. Not to get a date!

These top golf courses offer women golfers either taverns, club houses or resort restaurants for a quiet meal and drinks for a small group, or conference rooms for a business meeting or seminar. During the meal or over drinks is the time to get down to business.

The top courses in the business hubs of the U.S. listed here are for the woman golfer from beginner to the pro. We made sure that golfers on all levels of the game are welcome.

What to Wear For Business Golf??? The answer is BE COMFORTABLE or you'll sacrifice your concentration on the course and your ability to relax afterwards. Don't try to be too sexy or fashionable. Conservative, crisp and clean - you can't go wrong. And remember! Play Your Best!
